How long will the orthodontic treatment last?

The treatment time can vary from one to three years, depending on a number of factors including age, type of treatment (interceptive therapy or phase II), type of equipment needed and complexity of malocclusion. The greater the patient's cooperation, the more efficient the treatment.

Before starting orthodontic therapy, the doctor will discuss the treatment plan with the patient (see New Patients Section - Diagnostic Path) during the case presentation, providing an estimate of the overall duration of therapy.
